One thing I think I really would like in the kitchen on a single, small wall would be a floor to ceiling chalkboard wall. And if you buy a good, chalkboard erasable marker it is actually really clean and can look great.
This is my inspiration.

And thanks to Tumblr, I have tons of great and inspirational quotes that would fill the board nicely as well as providing a place to write messages and notes. I think it will add character to our home. And we all know I am all about simple and elegant character.

LOVE this stuff! I have a great bar/kitchen table that I salvaged. I painted the top with chalkboard paint and I would write the dinner menu on it at night. Lots of fun
ReplyDeleteThis is really interesting. I have been having doubts about a chalkboard because it might be a little messy but id chalkboard erasable markers are available then my problem is solved. This is certainly a must have in my kitchen where I can get to write the several inspiring things about life and food! Even to those who operate restaurants or diners, this is a good idea (their flooring Houston needs to be of quality as well because of all the foot traffic). Thank you for sharing this post!
