May Vouge

I must admit I am obsessed with the following images from the May Vouge.

Now, I am not sure if I am obsessed with the pictures because of the elephants, Reese Witherspoon, or the allure of the circus or just the overall beauty captured within the images. Ever since Water for Elephants, the book and the movie, I have become infatuated with the circus. I was never allowed to go to the circus when I was younger. My mom didn't like the way the animals were treated and after reading, Water for Elephants, I understand why. But still the pageantry, illusion, and fantasy of the circus and circus life is so beautiful to me even if I never go to an actual circus.
