So friend from "Love ya but don't want you back" post is asking for me to provide an escape for her this weekend since her and lazy bum hubby are having some issues.

I really am sorry that they are having issues and I don't wish that on anyone but at the same time told you so.

I told you so freshman year when he was flirting around with the new girl. I told you so our sophmore year when y'all were almost arrested for domestic dispute on a college campus. I told you so our junior year when he was too busy to come visit you. I told you so when you moved out of our apartment to move in with him AND you dropped out of school. I told you so when your parents didn't like him. I told you so when he refused to hang out with anyone but his friends. I told you so everytime he made you cry. I told you so when you refused to date anyone else because you just knew he was the one. I told you so... over and over again. I told you so... time and time again.

I told you so when you were giving me a hard time about dating around when Hubs and I went our seperate ways.

So yes, as much as I would love to be your safe haven this weekend from your problems. I'm going to ask that you find someone else to be your shoulder of support because from me all you are going to hear is, "I told you so". Not because I'm just a big, ole' Southern witch but because I really did tell you so.
